1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between the customer and BJS Rental Enterprises LLC. The agreement takes effect when a reservation is confirmed, when a deposit is paid, or when an order is accepted at the gate, whichever happens first. The agreement stays in force until every item has been returned and every charge has been settled.

By using the website or the rental services, the customer confirms that the information provided is accurate and that the customer has the authority to enter into the agreement. Where an order is placed on behalf of a group, a venue or a business, the person who places the order is responsible for the items and for ensuring that everyone who uses them follows these terms.

2. Eligibility to Hire

Rental items are hired to adults who can enter into a contract and who can provide a valid form of identification. The customer must be at least eighteen years of age and must provide a current telephone number and email address so that the yard can reach the person who is responsible for the order. Identification is checked at the gate when an order is collected, and a customer who cannot provide it may be refused.

Some items carry additional requirements. Tools and powered equipment are released only to a person who can confirm that they understand the operating instructions that are given at the gate. Where the yard believes that a customer cannot safely operate an item, the yard may decline the hire or suggest a safer alternative.

3. Reservations and Availability

A reservation holds specific items for a specific window. Availability is checked against the live reservation list and the day sheets at the desk, and a date is confirmed only when the desk confirms it. Until a reservation is confirmed with a deposit, items are not guaranteed and may be hired to another customer.

The customer should review the confirmation carefully, including the item list, the unit numbers, the dates and any delivery details. If something is incorrect, the desk should be told before the delivery or pickup date so that the correction can be made while the stock is still available. The yard will make reasonable efforts to fill a substitution when an item becomes unavailable, and any change to the order will be written on the checkout tag.

4. Pricing, Quotes and Fees

Prices are quoted by the desk and reflect the items, the duration, the delivery distance and any setup that is requested. A quote is valid for the period stated on the quote and may change after that period or if the scope of the order changes. The final amount is written on the checkout tag and accepted by the customer before the items leave the yard.

Additional fees may apply in defined situations. A cleaning fee may apply where items return unusually dirty. A repair or replacement charge may apply where an item is damaged or lost. A mileage fee applies beyond the standard delivery zone. A late fee may apply where items return after the agreed window. Any such fee is explained at the desk before it is charged.

5. Payment and Deposits

Most hires require a refundable deposit to hold the date and to guarantee the return of the items in good condition. The deposit amount is stated on the checkout tag. When an order returns complete and in the agreed condition, the deposit is credited back according to the method that was used. The credit is normally processed within the week that follows the return.

Payment is due as stated on the checkout tag, usually at the time of pickup or before delivery. Card payments are processed by a payment provider, and cash may be accepted at the yard where the desk agrees in advance. Outstanding balances may prevent future hires until the account is brought up to date.

6. Pickup and Yard Collection

A customer who chooses self pickup collects the order from the yard at 2899 W 2495 S, Syracuse - 84075-7084, United States (US) during the agreed window. The crew loads the items, counts them with the customer and confirms the checkout tag. The customer is responsible for securing the load for transport and for any damage that occurs because a load was not secured properly.

The customer should bring a suitable vehicle and enough help to handle larger items. Tables and dollies of chairs can be heavy, and the yard can advise on the space that an order will need. If a vehicle is not suitable, the desk can arrange delivery instead, subject to availability.

7. Delivery, Setup and Collection

Delivery and setup are offered across Syracuse and the surrounding valley, with a standard zone that reaches roughly forty miles from the yard. Deliveries are scheduled in windows, and the customer must provide safe access, a clear drop point and a person who can receive the order or direct the crew. Where access is blocked or unsafe, the crew may leave the order in the nearest safe position and note the change on the tag.

Collection normally takes place on the agreed day after the event. The customer is responsible for having the items ready for collection and accessible. Where items are not ready, a return visit may be charged as an extra trip. The crew counts every item as it is loaded and records any difference on the checkout tag.

8. Proper Use of Rental Items

Rental items must be used only for their intended purpose and only in a lawful manner. Tables and chairs are not to be used as scaffolding, as a platform or as a step. Tents are not to be modified or cut. Audio gear is not to be opened or repaired by the customer. Tools are to be used by a competent operator who follows the safety notes given at the gate.

The customer must keep the items secure while they are in the customer possession. Items should be stored under cover where possible, protected from theft and not left unattended in a public place. The customer is responsible for the items from the moment they leave the yard until they are returned or collected.

9. Tents, Canopies and Weather

Tents and canopies are temporary structures and must be anchored as instructed. The customer must not move, re-stake or re-tension a structure after the crew has set it up without asking the yard first. Where high wind, heavy rain or lightning is forecast, the customer should contact the desk, and the yard may recommend that the structure be lowered or, in extreme cases, taken down for safety.

Damage that results from ignoring weather advice, from relocating a tent, or from failing to follow anchoring instructions may be charged to the customer. The safety of guests is the first concern, and the yard will always prefer to lower a tent than to leave an unsafe structure standing.

10. Tools, Fuel and Safe Operation

Powered tools are released fuelled and tested, and the customer must use the correct fuel or power source as instructed. Tools must not be operated in an enclosed space where exhaust or fumes can build up. Guards and safety devices must stay fitted, and a tool that develops a fault must be stopped and reported to the yard rather than repaired by the user.

A short walkthrough is given at the gate for every powered item. Where a tool fails on the job through no fault of the customer, the yard will swap it for a working unit the same day where stock allows, and the hire clock will be adjusted. Damage that results from misuse, from the wrong fuel or from missing safety devices may be charged.

11. Audio and Event Gear Care

Audio equipment arrives in labelled cases with the leads bundled and the batteries checked. The customer should keep the equipment dry, avoid overloading the speakers and set levels so that the sound stays clear. Cases, stands and cables should be returned in the same cases in which they were supplied, and any missing accessory should be reported so that it can be resolved quickly.

The yard is not responsible for the quality of a performance, for the power supply of a venue or for a venue that restricts volume. The customer should confirm that the venue has suitable power and that any noise limit has been agreed with the venue before the event. Support during an event can be arranged in advance when an operator is booked.

12. Damage, Loss and Cleaning

Every item is inspected before and after a hire, and the condition is recorded on the checkout tag. Normal wear from proper use is expected and is not charged. Damage that goes beyond normal wear, a missing item or an item that returns unusually dirty may be charged at a reasonable rate that reflects repair, cleaning or replacement. The desk will explain any charge and provide a record on request.

The customer should report damage or loss as soon as it is discovered so that the matter can be handled promptly. Where an item is lost, the customer may be charged the replacement value, taking into account the age and condition of the item. A deposit may be applied to any such charge, and any remaining balance is due on request.

13. Cancellation and Rescheduling

A reservation may be cancelled or moved to a new date by contacting the desk at +14844502518 or by writing to rentals@bjsrental.mom. Cancellations that are made well before the delivery or pickup window are normally refunded in full, less any cost that the yard has already incurred. Cancellations that are made close to the window may forfeit part or all of the deposit.

Rescheduling is subject to availability on the new date. Where the new date cannot be met, the reservation may be treated as a cancellation. The yard will always try to find a fair solution, and the specific terms that apply to a given order are confirmed at the desk and written on the checkout tag.

14. Late Returns and Extra Days

Items must be returned or made ready for collection within the agreed window. A weekend bundle leaves the yard on Friday and returns on Monday, and a daily hire returns on the agreed day. Where a return is delayed, the customer should call the desk as soon as possible so that the reservation list can be updated and any conflict with the next customer can be managed.

Late returns may be charged at the daily rate for each additional day or part of a day, and a significant delay may affect future reservations. Where the yard agrees in advance to extend a hire, the extension is noted on the checkout tag and charged at the agreed rate.

15. Limitation of Liability

BJS Rental Enterprises LLC is responsible for supplying items that are safe and fit for their intended purpose at the time they leave the yard. Beyond that responsibility, the Company is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost opportunities or costs that arise from an event being delayed or changed, to the extent that the law allows such limits.

The total liability of the Company for any claim that relates to a hire is limited to the amount that the customer paid for that hire, except where the law does not allow a limit, such as in cases of death or personal injury that is caused by negligence. This section does not remove any right that a customer holds under consumer law that cannot be waived.

16. Indemnity

The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless BJS Rental Enterprises LLC against claims, losses and reasonable costs that arise from the misuse of a rental item, from a failure to follow the safety instructions given at the gate, from a load that was not secured for transport, or from a breach of these terms by the customer.

This indemnity applies only to the extent that the claim is caused by the conduct of the customer or of a person who uses the items with the customer permission. It does not apply to a claim that is caused by a defect in an item that the Company supplied or by the negligence of the Company.

17. Acceptable Website Use

The website may be used for lawful purposes only. A visitor must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, to interfere with its operation, to upload malicious code, or to use automated tools to copy content or to place a disproportionate load on the servers. Contact forms must not be used to send spam, unlawful content or misleading reservation requests.

The Company may restrict or block access to the website where it believes that these rules have been broken. The Company may also change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website at any time, including a feature that is no longer useful or that requires maintenance.

18. Intellectual Property

The content of the website, including the text, the layout, the stencil styling, the unit tag design and the rental yard imagery, belongs to BJS Rental Enterprises LLC unless another owner is credited. The name BJS Rental Enterprises LLC and the related marks may not be used in a way that suggests a partnership or an endorsement without written permission.

A visitor may view the website and print a copy of a page for personal or internal use that relates to a genuine rental enquiry. Any other copying, republishing or commercial use of the content requires prior written consent from the Company.

19. Privacy and Data Handling

Personal information that is provided through the website or at the yard is handled as described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. The Privacy Policy explains what is collected, why it is used and how a customer can exercise the choices and rights that apply to that information.

By using the website or the rental services, the customer confirms that the details provided are accurate and that the customer has read the Privacy Policy. Questions about data handling may be sent to rentals@bjsrental.mom at any time.

20. Events Beyond Our Control

The Company is not responsible for a failure or a delay that is caused by an event beyond its reasonable control. Such events include severe weather, flooding, fire, power failure, a transport disruption, a labour dispute, a supplier failure, an epidemic or a decision of a public authority.

Where such an event affects a reservation, the Company will contact the customer as soon as possible, will offer a new date where one is available and will refund amounts that were paid for a service that could not be provided. The Company will not be liable for additional costs that the customer incurs as a result of the event.

21. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and by the laws of the state in which the yard operates, without regard to conflict of law rules. The parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith by talking directly, and the customer is encouraged to contact the desk before taking any formal step.

Where a dispute cannot be resolved by discussion, the parties agree that the courts with jurisdiction over the location of the yard will hear the matter, unless the law gives the customer the right to bring a claim in another forum. Nothing in this section prevents a customer from using a consumer protection body or a small claims process where that route is available.

22. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time to reflect a change in the services, in the way the yard operates or in the law. When an update is made, the effective date at the top of the page is revised and the new version is posted on the website. Material changes will be highlighted so that returning visitors can see what has changed.

An order that is placed after an update is governed by the revised terms. An order that is already confirmed is governed by the terms that applied when it was confirmed, unless a change is required by law.

23. How to Contact Us

Questions about these terms, about a reservation or about a charge can be sent to BJS Rental Enterprises LLC by email, by telephone or in person at the yard. The desk will explain the position clearly and will work to resolve any concern in a fair and timely way.
